so we’re not thrilled that hank shares a birthday with jenna and barbara bush but he does have donovan mcnabb and joe dimaggio.

another waiting update. yup. really.
things are now progressing though and we should have a hank soon. we’re also personally thanking the labor and delivery gods for not striking us with a mean spirited delivery nurse twice in a row (debating the merits of sharing more details on this later).
things to get much better from here. hooray!

and no, nothing is wrong. apparantley, this is entirely normal. in fact, it’s only the first example of how much anna and i aren’t really in control of anything from here on out.

- Grandma Sauer is in the house. Literally. Pictures to come. She’s brought with her a load of junk food and good stories about the late Grandpa Sauer.
